Girls Volleyball 2023-24

Hello & Welcome!

My name is Mindea Hamm. I'm the girls volleyball coach at Canyon Springs this year! I am looking forward to an amazing and fun season.

Here is some information for tryouts and selected teams:

• Tryouts and practices are held in the MPR from 6:30 a.m.–7:45 a.m.
• Tryouts are 6:40–7:45 AM. Monday 11/6, Tuesday 11/7 and Thursday 11/9
• All athletes who are trying out need their RMA paperwork completed before the tryout (see CS Athletics page or paper packet sent home with checklist)
  • They need physical documents uploaded, parent forms signed, emergency contact forms uploaded, etc. 
  • This tells me they have been physically cleared and are allowed to try out.
• All athletes have to pay an athletic fee of $60 (unless you can claim financial hardship; let me know)
• There are fees to attend each game ($4 per person, per game) or purchase a Family Pass for $25 (whole family, ALL games).
• Athletes are expected to attend all days of tryouts, practices, and games. Extenuating circumstances or excused absences must be submitted to mindea.hamm@dvusd.org or codi.bauer@dvusd.org keep in communication with your coach.
• Below you will see a calendar for the games, practices, and team events.
• Please email me if you would be able to parent volunteer during games (during boys' games: keeping score or taking tickets).
